Santeri Lahdelma Appointed CEO of KeyStaff

Santeri Lahdelma on nimitetty KeyStaffin Santeri Lahdelma has been appointed CEO of KeyStaff as of 6 October 2025. Santeri has previously served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. The appointment is a natural continuation of Santeri’s strong contribution to KeyStaff’s growth and culture.

Growth and Partnership – Driven by Determined Action

Santeri sees a bright future for KeyStaff. According to him, the company’s strength lies in its team and in the shared spirit of working together, which carries the company even in a highly competitive market.

Santeri’s goal is to strengthen KeyStaff’s position especially as a partnership-driven player. He wants KeyStaff to be seen primarily as a recruitment partner, not just a service provider.

“The difference is subtle but significant. When we build recruitment solutions together with our clients, we’re able to create long-term results that better support their staffing needs and, ultimately, their entire business.”

The new CEO’s initial priorities are clear:

  1. Trust with jobseekers and employees – without them, there is no KeyStaff.
  2. Employee well-being – Santeri wants everyone at KeyStaff to feel well and find meaning in their work.
  3. Growing networks – cooperation with Finnish companies is key to discovering new job opportunities for jobseekers.

“When we grow our network and our clients’ trust, we can offer more to jobseekers as well – including those hidden job opportunities that never appear publicly.”  

Leadership Through Enabling

Santeri’s leadership philosophy is rooted in his studies in management at the University of Jyväskylä. He sees himself first and foremost as an enabler.

“My most important task is to remove obstacles and empower our people to succeed. When I help others succeed in their work, the entire organisation succeeds.”

Santeri emphasises that the staffing services industry is, above all, a people business – and that is why individual successes in helping jobseekers find employment are the most meaningful moments for him.

“When we succeed in helping someone get a job, it always feels especially rewarding. Our applicants are not numbers – they are people with their own stories.”

In his free time, Santeri focuses on his family, his infant daughter, and his Australian Shepherd.

“After I shut down my work laptop, they make sure there’s always plenty to do – and that’s the best possible way to recharge.”
